Seminar 'Sustentabilidade na Hotelaria'
On 7th May, NEYA Lisboa Hotel organized a seminar on the theme "Sustainability in Hospitality", with the presence of many guests, including the Executive Director of PNAEE - Eng. Paulo Calau - the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Energy, as well as various professionals and representatives of institutions related to the sustainability of the hotel sector (Associação da Hotelaria de Portugal, SGS Portugal, Green Key and GRACE).
The seminar aimed to share, analyze and promote joint reflection on best practice in the hotel industry, from different perspectives, with the aim of disseminating knowledge, promote mutual help of the various players and contribute to the sustainability of the activity.
To mark the certification of the Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment and Safety and Health at Work), awarded by SGS, NEYA Lisboa Hotel organized a cocktail for partners, suppliers, guests and stakeholders, to promote the benefits of an Integrated Management System, as well as to strengthen the importance of remaining certifications of sustainability for the development of excellence in the hotel industry in Portugal, including the Five-Leaf, Green Key and GeenLeaders.
